Thoughtful Floor Waxing

Floor-appropriate treatment and solutions so your budget is invested wisely

  • Scuff marks, dullness, and coloring get documented to correctly deal with each blemish.
  • Cleaning solutions matched to floor type, preserving surfaces, and producing shine.
  • One service advisor, one number, available for incidents while handling the process.

1st Assessment Clarity

We look at the scuff, dullness, and staining severity and explain how to approach each based on flooring type so you’re clear on what works best.

Always Your Choice

Your floor waxing scope will detail different approaches to wax your floor. You make final decisions based on what makes sense for your facility.

Know Who to Call

One Service Advisor you call for all incidents. They also coordinate crews and follow up with you so you never chase.

Handled Year-Round

Ongoing floor waxing plans so floors stay consistent without having to guess when’s the next best time.

Commercial floor waxing service

We carefully assess whether stripping and waxing, scrubbing and recoating, or buffing fits your floor.

Not every floor is the same from space to space. A floor in the lobby will get more foot traffic, and dirt buildup will need more frequent cleaning than a hallway at the back of the building.

We can handle your waxing needs, whether you have VCT, LVT, Sheet Vinyl, or Linoleum floors. The approaches vary with type and use, and we work with you so each solution is specific to your building.

Pre-job Walkthrough

We tour the facility with the crew before waxing day so they know what to target and when. The more familiar crews are with your site, the easier it is to have your site ready when you need it.

Scheduling Around Your Hours

Having crews on site while your place is in use causes delays, headaches, and creates slip-and-fall risks while the coating is wet. This is why we work around your operating hours so everyone moves freely.

The Restoration Process

The restoration process is dependent on the wax accumulation over the years. When we present your options, we consider whether scrubbing and recoating, stripping and waxing, and buffing is the best approach. We’ll discuss this in more detail below.

Completion Walkthrough

We hold ourselves accountable for ensuring each space gets the right treatment, and it’s why your Service Advisor visits your site after cleanup to walk each space and ensure the work gets done. If incidents occur, they stay on the job until resolved.

How can you tell which waxing approach is best for you?

We mentioned three different approaches above, and it’s important to know what makes sense for you so you stay on budget while preserving the floor as an investment, leaving it shining.
Stripping and waxing: You’ll need a strip and wax when the wax accumulated over time has floors looking yellow. This means we’ll need to remove all wax, brush and mop the surface, then apply several coats of wax.
Brush and Recoat: If all you have are scuff marks and a dull shine, then a brushing that removes grime off the wax layer works well, with an additional recoating that leaves floors shining.
Buffing/Burnishing: Only have dulled floors? This service restores the shine by heating up the wax surface and using friction to bring it back to life.

Common Questions

Floor Stripping & Waxing FAQs

How often should floors be stripped and waxed?

High-use facilities, such as schools and hospitals, often need a strip every 6 months to 1 year. Buildings that experience far less foot traffic could see a strip and wax every 1-2 years, depending on how often floors get recoated or how serious the soil buildup is.

How long does a strip-and-wax job take?

For smaller buildings at around 1,000 SF, it can take 3-6 hours for a 2-person crew. Larger buildings that take up 2,500 SF can see the same strip-and-wax go from 6-9 hours. For larger spaces spanning more than 10,000 SF, jobs span 12-20 hours and are usually divided into sections across days.

When can we use the floors after waxing?

Floors can have visitors after drying. We recommend not placing furniture or rolling carts in the first 24-48 hours to avoid scuff marks that will set in the wax. We provide exact timelines for your facility so you always know what stage you're in and keep things moving.

What floor types do you work with?

We work with all floor types, such as VCT, LVT, Sheet Vinyl, and Linoleum. We also provide floor cleaning services for ceramic floor tile and polished concrete if your facility needs it.

Do you offer one-time services or only recurring plans?

Both. This entirely depends on how much foot traffic you get and what makes the most sense based on typical buildup. Your service advisor will walk through the best fit for you.
